Footbridge’s new traceability platform

The FOOTBRIDGE service offering includes a new traceability platform and a major update of automated impact calculations for textiles, footwear and leather goods. All 100% operated by GOOD FABRIC.

Traceability + Impact

« Since 2021, the year FOOTBRIDGE was launched, we’ve learned a lot. We’ve overcome the unexpected. That’s the nature of any business project. Today, we’re offering our customers the platform we imagined. » Louis Marie Vautier, co-founder of FOOTBRIDGE.

Our experience has shown us how important it is to offer a unified solution capable of combining traceability and impact measurement platforms.

Unified 360 CSR platform to accelerate impact reduction

Traceability is the cornerstone of any approach to impact reduction. Without traceability, it is impossible to control the social and environmental conditions under which a product is manufactured. No reliable impact measurement. Thanks to the FOOTBRIDGE platform, the data collected is used to carry out and secure environmental impact calculations in order to obtain more accurate results.

Lifecycle analysis, environmental scores and impact indicators for each product reference are automatically calculated, simplifying understanding of the issues for all style/development/purchasing/ CSR teams.

FOOTBRIDGE provides :

  • End-to-end traceability for all references in a collection
  • Data collection to calculate level 2 environmental impact
  • Control of social conditions throughout the value chain
  • Global and detailed impact measurement for each reference
  • CSR KPIs for your collections, enabling you to track impact reductions and feed into your carbon footprints and CSRD reports.

100% dedicated to the fashion industry

3 metiers

We are experts in the fashion industry and have developed a platform dedicated to our textile, footwear and leather goods businesses. Because, from a functional point of view, a platform cannot manage the traceability and impact calculation of a garment or a pair of shoes in the same way as a bicycle.

Business teams have specific expectations. So are the realities of a garment factory or spinning mill. Our experience in the field has been essential in developing a platform that can be deployed on a large scale and fully exploited to achieve CSR objectives.

Expertise and project support

Automating the process of onboarding players and collecting data saves a considerable amount of time, even if the close relationship with suppliers remains a key factor.

That’s why FOOTBRIGE isn’t just a SaaS platform. It relies on GOOD FABRIC’s CSR team and services to help brands manage their project, adapting to their objectives and allocated resources. It’s a unified global service offering combining an IT solution and CSR support from recognized experts in sustainable fashion.

The commitment of all players in the supply chain is essential. A traceability project is a structuring factor for committed brands. This is a long-term project, requiring human resources to involve all players and strengthen links.

The FOOTBRIDGE team provides pragmatic, operational answers to the issues of traceability, impact measurement and regulatory compliance. A Footbridge project manager supports each of our customers in the deployment of the platform.

Simplicity and ergonomics

End-to-end data collection is a complex subject, and usually requires considerable resources. The ultimate goal is not data collection, but the exploitation of the analyses resulting from this collection. Making the use of the platform simple and relevant is the obsession of all FOOTBRIDGE teams.

A detailed understanding of the business, constraints and expectations of all the players involved is crucial to achieving this goal. Simplifying the life of suppliers with a simple, ergonomic data collection solution is a determining factor to which we attach the utmost importance.

The global response to regulatory standards

The AGEC Act, Environmental Labeling, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, Digital Product Passport, Carbon Footprint… France and the European Union are becoming the world champions of standards. All these regulations are hitting companies hard, particularly in the clothing, footwear and leather goods sectors.

In these conditions, our role is to provide turnkey solutions to meet these new obligations.

KPIs useful to business teams

Analyzing the impact of a product is necessary, but not sufficient. FOOTBRIDGE provides detailed analysis of sourcing and collection impact. Here again, understanding the challenges faced by our businesses is a prerequisite for proposing relevant dashboards.

Collection analysis is automated and updated after each integration of new data.

For all these reasons, the Footbridge platform has become the indispensable “toolbox” for all those wishing to achieve concrete results in terms of CSR while optimizing their budget.
